Dress Code

First through 8th Grades will be in the Divine Mercy uniform. Kindergarten has the option to follow the dress code or wear the uniform.

The choice concerning shoes for all students, K through 8, is left to the parents. If your child wears tennis shoes, they should be neat and clean, and laces must be tied. Socks must be worn with shoes at all times. No denim of any color is to be worn. there will be two "Jean Days" each month when denim will be permitted. No baggy jeans are allowed.

Boys and Girls

Shirts/ Blouses: Soft collar polo or turtleneck in red, white, blue, yellow/gold. Oxfords in white, blue, yellow.

Shorts: Navy or khaki walking shorts, hemmed three inches above the knee.

Slacks: Navy or khaki pants.

Girls my wear navy blue, plaid or khaki scoop neck uniform jumper, skirt, skort, or knee length shorts. White blouses, long or short sleeve.

Sweaters: Long sleeve cardigan, pullover, crew or v-neck, sweater vests in red, white, yellow/gold, navy blue.

All shirts must have collars and be solid colors (no stripes or prints)

No bandanas or hair scarves are allowed.

Shirt tales are to be tucked in.

No denim of any color is to be worn except on the two "jean days" held each month.

No tee shirts permitted except on jean days.

No baggy jeans allowed.

Clean and neat footwear must be worn and shoelaces must be tied.

 

Gym Clothing

Physical education class is a required part of out state curriculum. Attendance and participation is necessary for a passing grade.

Gym clothes (either shorts of an appropriate length or sweats: no jeans) are to be carried to school on gym day. No jewelry is to be worn for safety reasons. The school is not responsible for jewelry items lost or stolen. If a child forgets his/her gym clothes, he/she will not be permitted to participate in gym class. No phone calls home to ask for gym clothes will be permitted. A child will not be excused from gym without a written request from a physician.
