Mission Statement
Our vision for Divine Mercy Academy is that all students
will be able to have access to computers as they are fully
integrated into the curriculum. The students will be
computer literate and be able to use the technology
available because they will receive instruction from a well
trained staff. In addition, computers will become a common
teaching tool in the classroom. We will develop a
computer-friendly environment for both students and
teachers.
Facilities
Divine Mercy Academy has a quality networked computer lab
with access to the Internet, color printers, a scanner, and
a digital camera.
The current lab contains 18 Windows XP computers with Internet access, a server, and a networked color printer.
The entire school and the lab has been rewired and a
number of computers are present in each classroom. There are
four smart boards, four overhead projectors and 10 VCRs/dvds available as well.
Each teacher has access to a state of the art networked computer and smart software. All teachers have email and online grade access.
The second floor classrooms are networked in the school
for access to shared files, Internet access and
printers. Several wireless access points are also available.
